are now adding some slight improvements (forgot the gun straps) on them to
make them perfecter.
1B Others give you a 100 or 110% effort, we
are giving you 120% effort on these sets. 50% Uniform, 50% pose, 10%

April 1, 2008
1A WW1 & WW2 French Masters are complete and
perfect, we just need to make a couple simple changes to the uniform, ammo
belt and officer.
1B We have decided that a 120% effort is not
good enough and now are going to give 140% effort. 60% uniform, 50% pose.
10% equipment, 10% gun straps and 10% officer.
1C After the couple simple improvements the
set will be 100% correct, all areas perfecter
with nothing missing or incorrect.
1D Tooling will start late April 2, 2008 because
of the minor delays and changes and the sets should be available at the end of
2008.
April Fools 2008
Test shots of the WW2 French are in hand and some items like the rim of
the helmet need improvements other areas are very nice for details. The
soft plastic for the soldiers and the hard plastic for the weapons gives the buyer some excellent soldiers.
May 1, 2008
1A WW1 & WW2 French Masters are
complete and perfected, these are 100% correct and accurate.
1B We are going to change the back of the
jackets and improve the officer some more, so we are now giving a 160% effort.
60% uniform, 50% pose, 10% equipment, 10% gun strap, 20% officer and 10%
jacket. These changes should take 10 or 20 days.
1C After modifacations,
improvements and changes this set will be perfected, 110% correct with
nothing missing or needed to improve the set.
1D Tooling will start at end of April or
first week of May 2008 and the sets should be available late 2008.
June 1, 2008
1A WW1 & WW2 French Masters are completed
and perfection, the sets are 110% correct and accurate.
1B We have decided to add some extra equipment
to a few of the guys and make a small modificaton on
the jackets to improve the accuaracy. With us
giving 170% effort on this set to make sure it is 110% accurate and correct and
on time schedule. 60% Uniforms, 50% pose, 10%
equipment, 10% gun straps, 20% officer, 10% jacket and 10% time schedule.
1C With the new changes and
improvements this set will set a standard for perfection, where perfect is just
not good enough and on the market when promised.
1D Tooling will start at the last day of April or first day of the
following month 2008 and the sets should be available on the last week of 2008.
July 1, 2008
1A WW1 & WW2 French Masters are complete and 110%
correct. Nothing else is need for these sets.
1B We have decided to add some items to the guys,
they are not really required to be 110% correct and accurate, but
many photos of the WW1 & WW2 French do have these items, so we thought we
would add them. We are now giving 175% effort. 60% uniform, 50%
pose, 10% gun straps, 20% officer, 20% jacket, 15% equipment, 0% time schedule.
1C With the new changes and improvements
this set will set a new standard for perfection where perfect is just not
good enough and released close to the time schedule.
1D Tooling did start on last day of April or first day of the
following month if you consider the mold layout part of the tooling, if only the metal parts count, this should
start on time to make the current release schedule of the morning of the last
day of 2008.
August 1, 2008
1A WW1 & WW2 French Masters are complete and
110% correct. We have checked and rechecked from all the information and
all the people that have information on the two sets. We have the best
sources of people and informaton. Not one
single thing needs to be added or changed or corrected on these sets.
1B Jean has brought to our attention that the WW1 jacket is
slightly different than the WW2 jacket. Dave has also suggested that one
of the guys jackets could be improved to to his pose
the jacket is not quite right (the sleeping guy), front brace on the bipod
for the FM24/29
1BB We also thought we would add an ammo box for the HMG guy and a
bag for carrying extra rounds for the FM24/29 firing guy. We are also
changing the grenadier gun from the berthier to the lebel. It seems to be more common. As of this
time we can not find any pictures proving they did not use the berthier, we can find
pictures of them useing the lebel
and have decided this is more correct. Not that the
other may not be correct, just
not 110% correct.
1BBB It has been brought to our attention
that the crawling guy has a canteen that defies gravity. This is
completely unacceptable for a set that is 110% correct and
accurate, even though he could be crawling
up a very steep hill where this would be correct we have been persuaded
that it is best to change this.
1C With these extremely minor changes these sets
will be perfectorest and accurest
set ever offered on 1/72 (approx if the tooling guy gets it correct) 1940
WW2 French and 1/72 (approx if the tooling guy gets it correct)WW1 Frenh from Pegasus, but whatever scale these end up
being, they will set a new standard that can not possibly be improved
upon. We have given 195% effort. 60% uniform, 50% pose, 10% gun
straps, 20% officer, 20% jacket, 15% equipment, 30% improvements and a negative
10% time schedule.
1D Tooling has started, the mold layout is done and as soon as the
changes are made the metal will be ordered for the molds and when that arrives
the tooling guys will start, so as you can see the tooling is now on schedule
to start soon as possible and meet our deadlines. Sets should be available late
afternoon of the last day of 2008.
Sept 1, 2008
1A WW1 & WW2 Frech masters are
complete and 110% accurate and ready to go to tooling. With all the last
changes being done and not a single thing needs to be changed we are on
schedule.
1B The crawling guy has not been changed
from item 1BBB of the August 2008 corrections list.
1C We will not bring out this set unless
it is perfectorist and on time. And since
September is a political month in
1D These sets should be available early evening
on the last day of 2008.
Oct 1, 2008 (Forcast)
1A WW1 & WW2 French masters are done and ready for tooling.
They are perfectionestor and corrector.
Better than perfect, betterest
than correct, even more better.
1B Metal has been ordered and recieved and the tooling guys are ready to start cutting
the molds, only problem is nobody can find the mold layout, seems like
they just finished them not to long ago?????
1C Chinesse holidays
will slow down the time schedule, but we should have the set out on the evening
of the last day of 2008.
1D For those of you wanting this set, the wait will be worth
it, you will have lived a long life and this set has given tought you patience, and not many companies in this bussiness give you both toy soldiers and patience and
changes, most only give just one things, toy soldiers or patience.
Nov 1, 2008 (Forcast)
1A 230% Effort now being put in this set to
honor the next
Dec 1, 2008 (Forcast)
1A I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and
let them know that we are putting all effort into the WW1 & WW2 French
sets.
Jan 1, 2009 (Forcast)
1A Sets have been delivered and completely sold out. PSR
has reviewed the sets and given them the highest marks of any sets and now must
make a new standard for sets in the future. They have been seen on
the front pages of the NY Times, Newsweek, FHM, French Soldiers of the World
Wars and been on the major talk shows of Leno and Letterman,
even Howard Stern has bought a few sets and has asked his listners to help him find more. Prices
for boxes are as high as $100.00 on ebay due to the
demand and quality of the sets. Major money man Warren Buffet has said he
is selling his gold bars and investing in boxes of the Pegasus Hobbies WW1
& WW2 French. The 1/32 WW1 & WW2 French are a success.
1B After this success of these sets we have
considered doing them in 1/72, but not wanting to have a different
scale than our earlier Germans we have decided to do them in 1/76
